Structural Premise
Cooperative systems carry within their design the structural preconditions of their own inversion. These conditions are not aberrations — they are latent features.
The Framework
The Inversionsmodell is one analytical instrument developed within the Dahlem Project. It does not evaluate intent. It analyses structure: the conditions, thresholds, and feedback mechanisms through which cooperative systems cease to function as designed.
Four Dimensions
The model identifies inversion indicators across four structural dimensions: mandate, feedback, accountability, and epistemic access.
Empirical Verification
Case analyses generate prospective verification expectations — falsifiable predictions within defined temporal windows of 12 to 60 months.
Epistemological Grounding
The framework operates at the level of structure, not motivation. It neither presupposes failure nor assumes good faith. It asks only: what does the architecture permit?
Cognitive Extension
The Dahlem Project works with language models as part of its research environment. This is neither incidental nor concealed — it is structural.
The extension of human cognition, in every direction and regardless of its source, belongs to the project’s founding premise. Language models allow thoughts to be taken up, challenged, extended and connected with other lines of thought — held to the same standard of verification that governs the framework itself. Ideas develop through exchange, association and contradiction.
The prerequisite for engagement is a genuine interest in research and knowledge.
